The Hoxton, Amsterdam
The Hoxton, Amsterdam opened its doors on Herengracht in 2015. Made up of 5 canal houses, the building was once home to the Mayor, way back in the 17th century. Now it houses 111 rooms spread across 5 floors with plenty of quirks including some monumental ceilings and lots of canal views – we're lucky enough to have canals on each side of the building. Downstairs, there's the restaurant, Lotti's, run in partnership with Soho House & Co; Up Top, our mezzanine coffee and cocktail den, lobby bar; and The Apartment, our meeting and event space, which doubles up as a home to Hoxtown.
Our 'hood today
The Nine Streets, or De Negen Straatjes as they’re called in Dutch, are home to some of the city’s coolest stores. Homegrown brands, cool cafes and gourmet restaurants line the streets, making the canal-structured grid one of the coolest places to hangout in the Dam. Eat well and shop happy.
Rooms
Our rooms come in all shapes and sizes and there's plenty of quirks too, monumental ceilings, double showers, one bath, beams and most have a canal view. It doesn't matter what size you choose, all rooms come with the usual Hox perks. That's free water, WiFi, one hour of free calls to anywhere in the world, a mini fridge for you to stock from our lobby shop with local products at supermarket prices and a daily breakfast bag filled with snacks from Stach, our favourite local deli.
