ESSENTIALLY MALAGA:
Vincci Selection Posada del Patio 5* is a newly-built hotel with the quality and avant-garde style characteristic of Vincci Hotels. Located in the historical centre, it offers easy and fast access to all the points of interest in the capital of Malaga.
It is built on a spot corresponding to two older buildings, one of which was one of the last inns existing in Malaga, while the other was a residential building whose façade dating from the start of the 20th century has been respected.
This has been totally rebuilt, respecting the patio that gave it its name and an old hallway that corresponded to the entrance from Camas street.
HOTEL & MUSEUM:
Remains of the old Arab wall of Malaga have been found under both buildings, along with remains of the old river gate. This is the best-preserved stretch of the Arab wall, the only one that can be viewed from both sides, along which it is possible to stroll using the old circumference road of the city.
Along with the wall ruins, remains of an old tannery with several utensils have also been found,
which are on exhibit in the hotel. The old Roman wall of the city has also been found crossing the Arab wall, and beside it the old breakwater of the Roman port, giving an idea of the location of the coast during that time. This stretch of wall may be visited from the hotel.
ACCOMMODATION:
The hotel has 106 rooms, of which 81 are doubles, 8 individual rooms, 11 doubles with a separate living room, and 6 suites to make your stay unique and unforgettable. All of them have satellite TV with flat LCD screens, ADSL, mini-bar, safe, independent thermostat system, full bathroom equipped with magnifying mirror, hair-dryer and bathroom telephone.

VINCCI CARE encompasses all the measures that the hotel chain had already developed and implemented from the beginning relating to hygiene, sustainability, social commitment, technology and guest well-being; and all those that are now being implemented to respond to the current situation, with the aim of providing maximum trustworthiness.
We are working on an internal action plan for the entire chain, which strengthens the high standards of hygiene and quality that we already had in place. A plan in which standards are raised even further by creating demanding protocols that enable guests and employees to be cared for, meeting the new challenges in these areas.
