HYATT ON THE BUND

Hyatt on the Bund is located at the northern end of the legendary Bund. To maximise its prime location on the western banks of the Huangpu River, the cutting-edge hotel has been angled so that most of the rooms benefit from a spectacular view of either the historical architecture down The Bund or modern skyscraper-lined Pudong across the river.
Hyatt on the Bund houses a total of 620 guest rooms, including 48 suites, split between the East and West towers. Ranging in size from 42 to 300 square metres (452 to 3,229 square feet), these contemporary spaces feature floor-to-ceiling windows that allow guests to best experience the breathtaking views of Pudong or the Bund.
The highlight of the rooms is the innovative open bathroom concept, where guest can create an open-plan studio if desired, or close the space off for a more conventional bedroom/bathroom space.
Spread over the top four floors of the West Tower is Hyatt on the Bund’s signature drinking and dining destination – VUE Restaurant, Dining and Bar. On the second floor, Aroma introduces a “dining in the kitchen” concept, featuring live cooking stations rustling up everything from fresh pasta to Teppanyaki to desserts, while, off the lobby, a European-style Tea Room serves specialty blended teas from around the world, as well as pastries, cakes and hand-made chocolates. On the Lobby Level of the East Tower, Xindalu - China Kitchen focuses on authentic regional dishes, such as Peking Duck and the clay pot-baked Beggar’s Chicken, served in a fun setting.
The hotel is equipped with modern conference facilitates that caters to every business need. A sprawling 1,864 square metres of meeting space, with the capacity to cater to 1,500 people, is dedicated to meeting and function facilities. There are 2 ballrooms with outdoor terraces that have a capacity of 850 and 300 respectively (theatre style), and a 29 square metres LED screen is featured in the Grand Ballroom to create the magic and enhance guests’ presentations; a circular Glasshouse with an outdoor courtyard; and nine smaller versatile rooms equipped with wireless broadband Internet access, and the latest audio-visual and conferencing equipment. All of these functions benefit from natural daylight making them conducive to meetings, conferences and training sessions. Additionally, the spacious lower lobby and lobby can be easily converted to suit a wide variety of themed parties.
