VOI Donna Camilla Savelli Hotel
Via Garibaldi, 2700153 Rome, Italy
A small architectural jewel in the heart of the charming suburb of Trastevere, VOI Donna Camilla Savelli Hotel was built as a 17th century convent, based on a project assigned to the famous architect Francesco Borromini in 1642.
The Hotel owes its name to the founder of the religious institute, Camilla Virginia Savelli, duchess of Latera and wife of Pietro Farnese.
After a careful restayling, the convent has been converted into a luxury hotel in 2008, respecting the initial design and the architectural rules of the Baroque. It owns one of the most elegant gardens in the heart of papal Rome.
Set within ancient monastic cells, a few steps from the Gianicolo, VOI Donna Camilla Savelli Hotel promises unforgettable events and the chance to discover Rome from a different perspective.
