Grand Hotel Heiligendamm
Prof.-Dr.-Vogel-Str. 618209 Bad Doberan-Heiligendamm, Germany Leading Hotels of the World
There are places on earth which are out of this world.
Imagine a place that has nearly everything - apart from deadlines, stress and the hectic pace of everyday life. This magical place really does exist - its name is Heiligendamm.
Even on the way there, you can sense an indescribable lightness of being. Drive through centuries-old avenues of linden trees and feel the air getting saltier by the minute. Surrounded by the Baltic Sea and dense beech forests, the White Town by the Sea seems to give off a bright light.
Today, six buildings in the classical style form a place in which luxury is not just a matter of glitter or show but one of peace and calm, leisure and time: the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm.
Ten meeting rooms of different sizes and with different atmospheres offer a wide range of locations for every kind of event.
For sophisticated celebrations, gala evenings, concerts or unusual presentations, the classical-style ballroom and its adjoining marble foyer offer a magnificent setting. The room with its 9-metre high ceilings is level with the ground and forms the superb heart of the Kurhaus.
The Music Salon and the Prof. Dr. Vogel Salon are located on the piano nobile – the floor of the hotel on which events and meetings take place. Both have adjoining foyers and are also in the classical style. The Alexandrine Salon stands out thanks to its window frontage on both sides with a view of the Baltic Sea; it is furnished as boardroom with a large table and elegant leather chairs. The Caroline, Friederike, Louise I & II and Juliane I & II salons are top-class seminar and event rooms with a calm and elegant interior design.
The hotel is also surrounded by extensive parkland that is open towards the sea. The various buildings of the entire complex offer an assortment of views and prospects and are therefore eminently suitable as a backdrop for car presentations, exhibitions or press conferences. The large open spaces also mean that marquees can be included in the overall programme of events.
All rooms and salons are air-conditioned, have plenty of natural light and also have an electronically controlled lighting system. The building has a large range of conference technology and the management also works together with an external partner. A conference technician can be hired for technical assistance during the event.
